At Selkie Patterns Ltd we make sewing patterns and textiles, designed and produced here in the UK with the environment in mind. Our sewing patterns are created with a nod to vintage inspiration, featuring clean lines for the modern woman.
Wholesale accounts are available to brick and mortar and online shops with their own domain. If you are interested in becoming a stockist, please email email@example.com and we will send you an order form and price list.
New patterns are available for wholesale one month after release. Selkie Patterns is not exclusively stocked anywhere, however we reserve the right to decline a wholesale offer. We do not allow our products to be resold on any third-party marketplaces.
We do not currently wholesale our fabrics, but we are open to collaborations.
Our Sewing Patterns
Our patterns cover sizes 6-20 (UK). The packs come with a full colour envelope, with a beautifully illustrated cover, and all technical necessities and measurements printed on the back. Two A0 sheets of stock paper with the sewing pattern printed in nests and a full colour instruction booklet with a step-by-step construction method are included.
Our sewing patterns are printed in Britain on FSC-certified paper and our printer is a member of the Woodland Trust.
Our debut pattern is the London, which you can make into a dress, skirt, or blouse. The London reflects our love for the capital and our combined tastes of vintage inspiration and clean lines. The London has raglan sleeves, a knee-length skirt, a keyhole neckline, loose bodice pleats, gorgeous shaping around the waist and a shaped waistband for the skirt. You can choose to leave the darts unstitched like in the blouse sample, or stitch them fully for a more fitted look. The neck tie is also optional. Both options are provided on the pattern. The blouse has playful gathers around the waist and makes a versatile, feminine wardrobe staple. The London’s clean shape features simple but flattering lines, and suits itself to many different fabrics and many different occasions.
